Today's Photo Challenge: Celebrate National Hot Tea Month
About the book, I read "The 13th Child" by Patricia C. Wrede and LOVED it. In it she mentions a woolly rhinocerous. I'd never heard of such a creature and wondered if she made it up. Well, no it isn't made up. They existed along with woolly mammoths in the Pliestocene. Awesome, right? Then I read another book "The Wilmington Years" by Ilona Andrews and it also includes Pliestocene mammals. I then fell down the research rabbit hole to learn more about the creatures... I think it's my job to keep my interlibrary loan folks entertained.
And the tea? Well hot chai latte of course.

I've had the three upper pictures for almost 40 years. The bottom one of the three is an original oil from Poland. Then we have my favorite photo that I took of Old Faithful. The glass work was painted by my mother and gifted to me when Shanna was a baby. And finally the mirror that I picked up in the 80s.

After y'all said you enjoy things the way they are I'm changing things up for the Photo Challenge this year. I've got lots of National day of ___ for you to figure out a picture for. Also I want to state that the goal is for you to have taken the photo. But I don't care when or where. Yes it's always better if you took it on that day. But with 365 photos it's impossible for most of us to make that work.
