A personal journal of the doings and activities of my life. I do not remember the past very well, if at all. This is a way for me to keep track of it a little. Sort of a jump drive for my brain.

But I definitely wanted to improve it
Shanna and I chose this tile, a porcelain that looks like a rock, but will outlast and not flake into dust.
Here's how it looked when the Tile Lady was finished.
And how it looks now that the rest of the flooring in the living room has been changed.
I found these adhesive backed acrylic mirrors online and had to have them.
Shanna chose the light fixtures, the vanity, and the storage solutions
She also chose the curtains, new towels, rugs etc.
She decided to remove the linen cabinet in order to expand the shower.
And this tile for the walls
They removed everything
And fixed plumbing
Evolving
We ignored this shower by changing the shower curtain on occasion.
Downstairs Bathroom - The First Upgrade
For our first upgrade we painted the room white, put down a classic style linoleum, and eventually swapped out the sink for this pedestal version
The linen cabinet
Oh yeah, I kept the lid I made for the bathtub.
I kept the upstairs linen closet because it is super useful and does not impede a wheelchair.
The original midcentury modern lights and medicine cabinets were kept and I added the glass shelf above the sink
I did not put a door on the shower, instead I'm using shower curtains. Why? Because it's easier to clean.
